How would you like to be a scientist for a day?
This Friday, high school students are invited to the American Corner to take part in scientific experiments to determine the quality of different bodies of water in our city.
Students from “Niko Nestor” High School, mentored by their Chemistry professor Selamete Miftari Reci, will guide the participants in carrying out several tests.
Water quality testing is an important part of environmental monitoring. When water quality is poor, it affects not only aquatic life but the surrounding ecosystem as well. This event is organized in observance of Earth Day 2022, and its purpose is to raise awareness about environmental issues, including water pollution.
The event will take place at the Corner on April 15, starting at 11 am. All interested students must reserve a seat HERE, or by contacting AC staff via email or social media. The working language is English.
All resources provided.
