"Breaking Barriers: Make Way for Equality" is a series of events that aims to celebrate the accomplishments of different feminist activists that have been working towards gender equality. Through 3 separate events, we will be highlighting different speakers in fields such as activism, education and politics.
The second event of the series features Natalija Krstevska from PERIOD Skopje, an initiative that aims to put an end to menstrual poverty and stigma through education, services and representation. During the event, Natalija will share her experiences and insights on the challenges faced by women and young girls in North Macedonia and how her organization is working towards improving menstrual health and hygiene.
