Breaking Barriers: Make Way for Equality is a series of events that aims to celebrate the accomplishments of different feminist activists that have been working towards gender equality. Through 3 separate events, we will be highlighting different speakers in fields such as politics, education and activism.
The first event in the series features Rita Behadini, a prominent feminist activist and a founding member of the first Albanian feminist platform, Mollëkuqja, in North Macedonia. Behadini will share her experiences and insights on the challenges faced by feminists in the region, as well as the impact of Mollëkuqja's work in the feminist movement in North Macedonia.
Join us on 16.03.2023, Thursday, at 17:00, to discuss and learn about the progress made towards gender equality and the work still needed to be done. Please keep in mind this event is for youth aged 15 to 35 years old.
