�� Broadway is coming to Bitola! ��
In celebration of America's 250th anniversary, the American Corners are bringing you the iconic six-time-Tony-Award-winning Meredith Willson's Broadway musical, The Music Man Jr.!
The Music Man Jr. features some of musical theatre’s most iconic songs and a story filled with wit, warmth and good old-fashioned romance. The story follows master showman and fast-talking salesman Harold Hill, as he cons the people of River City, Iowa, into buying instruments and uniforms for a boys' band he vows to organize. The catch? He doesn't know a trombone from a treble clef. His plans to skip town with the cash are foiled when he falls for Marian, the town’s librarian…
The musical will be performed by students from Skopje high schools “Nikola Karev”, “Georgi Dimitrov”, “Rade Jovchevski Korchagin” and “Orce Nikolov”. It’s directed and prepared for the stage by professors Jasmina Belichanska, Marina Ivanova and Mile Naumovski with assistance in directing and choreography from students Kalina Stipcarova and Aleksandra Miteska.
